Text Box: ??Support our Troops!??As I sit on this beautiful Friday after the 4th of July and I take in the sunshine, the flowers, and the sounds of birds chirping, I realize that I live in paradise.??I am not afraid to go to the mall for fear of a terrorist bombing. I am not frightened that someone will break into my house and take me away for speaking out for what I believe. I can go to the church of my choice. I am free to drive my car to wherever I want in pursuit of whatever makes me happy. I can go back to school if I want. I will not be stoned to death for some action deemed by my family as inappropriate. (And believe me I have done some things).??These rights are NOT possible in all parts of the world. And I have to thank the American Soldier for giving me these freedoms. When I donate a hand painted card, pin, etc., I am expressing my deep appreciation for our troops. So join me in either donating a painted pin or ornament or some of the items needed by the troops from the "troop needs "list attached in your newsletter.  We will be collecting at the September meeting from this list. AND FOR OCTOBER, we are doing CHOCOLATE!"? ? Marion & Connie??
